Dithiophosphate 25 combines both collecting and frothing properties. It is an effective collector in flotation of lead, copper, silver and activated zinc sulfide minerals. It is usually used in the selective separation of lead from zinc minerals. In alkaline circuit, it does not float pyrite and other iron sulfide minerals readily, but in neutral or acid medium, it is a strong and nonselective collector for all sulfide minerals. It has specific performances to oxidized heavy metal ores. Dithiophoshate 25S is an effective collector for copper,lead sulfide minerals. Because of its weak collective power to zinc sulfide, it is usually used in the selective separation flotation of copper and lead sulfides from zinc sulfide minerals. This reagent may be fed to flotation circuit. Dithiophosphate BS is an effective collector for gold ore and silver, copper, zinc sulfide ores. It displays weak collective power to pyrite in alkaline circuit. This reagent has little frothing property. Dithiophoshate IBS is an effective collector for gold ore and silver, copper, zinc sulfide ores. It displays weak collective power to pyrite in alkaline circuit. This reagent has little frothing property. Dithiophosphate BA is an excellent collector with frothing performance in flotation of nonferrous metallic minerals. It exhibits specific properties for separating silver, copper, lead and activated zinc sulfide and difficult polymetallic ores. It is also used in the flotation of nickel, antimony sulfide and nickel sulfide minerals with low flotability, mixture of sulfide-oxide nickel ores and middlings of sulfide with gangue. Dithiophosphate BA is also helpful in recovery of platinum, gold and silver. Amino-dithiophosphate is used in the flotation of non-ferrous metallic sulfide minerals. The collectivity of the amino-dithiophosphate is stronger, the selectivity of it is good. This reagent is mainly used in the flotation of lead and copper minerals in the presence of sphalerite and iron sulfide. It is also effective on raising recovery ratio of the flotation of gold or silver.
